StartStep 的設計原則是：你的資料屬於你，且留在你的裝置上。我們不收集、不儲存、也不傳輸你的任何個人資料。
你輸入的任務內容、拆解結果、完成紀錄與使用統計，全部只儲存在你的裝置本機。App 沒有帳號系統、沒有分析追蹤工具、沒有廣告 SDK，開發者無法看到你輸入的任何內容。
預設的 AI 拆解由 Apple Intelligence（Apple 裝置端模型）在你的手機上運算，任務文字不會離開你的裝置。
Pro 使用者可在設定中「自行提供」AI 供應商的 API 金鑰（Google Gemini、OpenAI、Anthropic、DeepSeek、Moonshot）。選用時，你輸入的任務文字會直接從你的裝置傳送至該供應商的伺服器處理，適用該供應商的隱私政策。金鑰只儲存在你裝置的 iOS Keychain 中，不會傳給開發者。你可以隨時改回裝置端 AI，App 即完全離線運作。
當 Pro 使用者的裝置不支援 Apple Intelligence 時，App 會將任務文字（僅任務文字，不含任何身分資訊）經由我們的伺服器轉送給 Google Gemini 處理後立即回傳。我們的伺服器不儲存你的任務內容；為了公平使用限制，伺服器會暫存匿名裝置識別碼的每日使用次數（48 小時內自動刪除）。
訂閱與購買皆透過 Apple App Store 處理，我們不會接觸你的任何付款資訊。
本 App 不收集任何人的資料，包括 13 歲以下兒童。

StartStep is built on one principle: your data belongs to you and stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.
Your task inputs, breakdown results, completion history, and usage statistics are stored only on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no ads. The developer cannot see anything you type.
By default, task breakdowns are generated by Apple Intelligence (Apple's on-device models) directly on your phone. Your task text never leaves your device.
Pro users may provide their own API key for an AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Moonshot) in Settings. When selected, the task text you enter is sent from your device directly to that provider's servers, subject to the provider's privacy policy. Your key is stored only in your device's iOS Keychain and is never shared with the developer. Switch back to on-device AI at any time to stay fully offline.
When a Pro user's device does not support Apple Intelligence, the app sends the task text (task text only — no identity information) through our server to Google Gemini for processing and returns the result immediately. Our server does not store your task content; to enforce fair-use limits, it temporarily keeps a per-device daily counter tied to an anonymous device identifier (deleted automatically within 48 hours).
Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store. We never see your payment information.
This app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page with a new effective date.
